RentalReels collects the minimum it needs to produce your order and measure how the site is used, and nothing it does not.
Who is responsible

What is collected
RentalReels has no account and no login. When you place an order, we collect the order form fields (your name and email, and details about the property), the photos and any listing URL you send us, and, at checkout, your email via Stripe to confirm the order and handle billing; card numbers never touch our own servers. We also run PostHog product analytics, which records anonymous usage data tagged with a site property so it can be told apart from our other products. We run no advertising pixels of any kind: nothing here is used for ad targeting or retargeting.
Where it lives
The site is hosted on Vercel. Photos and files you upload are stored in Vercel Blob storage. Analytics run through PostHog's US cloud region. Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store card numbers ourselves.
Where it is processed
The services this site runs on (Vercel for hosting, PostHog for analytics, Stripe for payments) are based in the United States, and that is where the data described on this page is transferred and processed, wherever you visit from. Each of them handles EU data under EU-approved safeguards: Data Privacy Framework certification or standard contractual clauses.
How long it is kept
Order details, uploaded photos, and listing information are kept for as long as needed to produce and deliver your video, and for a reasonable period after in case a revision is requested. Ask, and they are deleted. Billing records are kept as long as Stripe and applicable tax law require, and no longer.
Cookies and consent
PostHog sets cookies to recognize repeat visits and measure how the site is used. If you visit from the European Union, the EEA, or the United Kingdom, a banner asks before any identifying cookie is set: PostHog runs in a cookieless mode until you accept, and if you decline it keeps counting your visit anonymously, without a cookie. Everywhere else, PostHog sets its own first-party cookies from your first visit, the same way most analytics tools do. We do not use any cookie for advertising.
Your rights
If you are in the European Union, the EEA, or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict its processing, and to complain to your local data-protection authority. To exercise any of these, write to us at the address above; requests are answered by a person.
What is never done with it
Your data is not sold or rented, and it is never put on a marketing list. Your photos and listing content are used only to produce your video. The processors involved are Stripe (payment), Vercel (hosting and storage), and PostHog (analytics), each holding only what its job needs.
